Fedora 18

Running Fedora 18 (gnome), despite the criticism it's a really nice distro once you get passed the installer, I found the most reliable way is to run a "live" USB/DVD first then click on "your name" (top r/h corner) then system settings > region and language, then go along the tabs selecting the ones you need, when finished on the last tab select "copy settings" to save the selections then select install to hard drive and follow the instructions, seemed easier to adjust language & time this way as the installer is a bit confusing.

When installed it took me ages to find the start up menu in case you need to add conky to auto start up or want to remove dropbox on start up.

press alt +F2 then type "gnome-session-properties" the menu will appear.
